Varied Thrush

This photo of a Varied thrush was taken on June 27th, 2011 at Ecola State Park on the coast of Oregon.  As my first Varied Thrush photo, this one took a lot of work!!  It's easy to hear these guys in the humid coastal forests in the Northwest.  You can occasionally see them.  But getting an actual photo was a lot more work than I had planned for!  I was very happy to finally get this shot.  Photo taken with Canon 50D, 400 5.6L.
