My Favorite: A species I've come
across in VERY different regions and habitats! After I started birding in 2000,
the first time I came across Common Ground-Doves was during our family vacations
in southern Arizona. I've also come across them in other areas of the U.S.
south, but have also seen them in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The photo below
is from June 2015 on St. John's in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
