The photo of the week, and one that may be one of my favorite photos of all time. This was taken at Lake Thompson this week, while sitting in a chair blind on an exposed shoreline that had been attracting shorebirds. The Marbled Godwits were in courtship mode, with display calls and flights and birds chasing each other all over the lake. This bird was chasing another when it flew right in front of the blind. From April 23rd, 2020.
