One of the last "new" bird species from the trip, yet the one where I brought home the most photos, the first I ran into Little Corella was at Centennial Park in Sydney, on our last morning in Australia. There were several dozen though in the park, and it was such a blast watching them. Loud, playful, energetic, and entertaining! My favorite photos are of one goofball who was having a blast (last 3 photos). He would hang upside down from some frayed palm leaves/branches, look around, dangle from one foot, and then...let go, falling down before catching himself mid-air, and flying back up to the same perch to repeat the sequence. SO fun watching him just PLAY, particularly when it seemed he was trying to entertain me, when he'd give me a good look each time before letting go. Cool birds!!
