American Dipper Photo

Hmmm...it's a lot easier shooting through air than it is through water!!  This is what an American Dipper looks like as it's swimming underwater in search of food.  VERY cool to watch!!  Not so easy to get a clear, recognizable photograph!! Does show the behavior quite well though of these remarkable birds. Taken on July 8th, 2008 below Roughlock Falls in the Black Hills, with Canon 20D, 400 5.6L.
