An American Dipper foraging for food below Roughlock Falls in the Black Hills of South Dakota. They'd typically gather a beakful of prey items, return the nest to feed the young, and fly out again to catch more. Taken on July 8th, 2008 with Canon 20D, 400 5.6L.
