East of Presho, a gravel road runs past the Presho sewage pond and parallels the Interstate. For most of this stretch, there's a small creek with scattered trees, in between the interstate and the gravel road. It's been another area I've had very good luck finding winter raptors. The scattered trees along the little riparian area often have raptors, including Bald Eagles that nest nearby. There's also an (abandoned?) railroad line on the north side of the gravel road, with a grassy strip around it. That abandoned railroad line is an area where I've seen Short-eared Owls on multiple occasions.
It's an area I've had very good luck, but again, just driving any random road in the Presho area in winter, you're likely to run into raptors.
