My Favorite: One of the most common birds of the wetlands around my part of South Dakota, and one that's unavoidable to hear, particularly in the spring and early summer. Marsh Wrens are definitely "wren-like", sharing that bubbling energy and seeming inability to sit still! Despite that, they are VERY curious birds, and I've had many chances to photograph them over the years. I guess my favorite is the photo below from September 14th, 2019 in Minnehaha County, given the nice pose, lighting, and great detail.
