American Black Duck Photos

American Black ducks are 1) not a common sight in South Dakota, as they're normally found in the eastern US, and 2) are declining in number. I've only seen them a couple of times in the state, and have only been able to photograph them once, when the bird below was seen in a small pond on the west side of Sioux Falls, in November of 2018.
