My Favorite: It's easy to find Wood Thrush, particularly from about mid-May through June. You go down to Newton Hills State Park. You walk the Sergeant Creek trail. You end up back by a picnic shelter. You listen, and you'll hear Wood Thrush. Simple! I see them all the time too! But holy cow, for some reason they've really been a nemesis bird from a photographic perspective. I can just never get one close enough. I do have a more photos than the ones below, but...not GOOD ones! Not ones I'd want to put on my website!
So, for now, two Wood Thrush photos are all you get, both of the same bird, from Newton Hills on June 3rd, 2017.
