My Favorite: On my edge of the state, I definitely have seen more Eastern Towhees over the years than Spotted Towhees. What's interesting though is that given we have both species here, they often seem to know (and reproduce) each other's songs. Here's a Spotted Towhee singing the classic "Drink Your Tea" song of an Eastern Towhee. From May 3rd, 2020 at Newton Hills State Park in South Dakota.
