My Favorite: If not for their reputation as foreign interloper, House Sparrows ARE handsome birds. Given that sometimes they're the only bird around, particularly in winter, I guess I don't have as strong a negative view towards them as many people do. My favorite photo is one from a rather unusual perch, as it's an ocotillo branch a male House Sparrow is using to sing from at Saguaro National Park in Arizona. From December of 2018.
