My Favorite: It only took 20 years of birding in South Dakota before seeing my first Henslow's Sparrow in the state! They are but rare visitors to South Dakota, although some think they do occasionally breed here. The photos below are all from May 19th, 2019, from the southern edge of Newton Hills State Park in Lincoln County, South Dakota.
