Harris's Sparrow Photos

There are a lot of sparrow species that are here for the summer and/or migrate through in the spring and the fall, many of which have some similar characteristics. And then there's the Harris's Sparrow. It's big and chunky, with a plumage pattern unlike any other sparrow that is found in South Dakota. Unmistakable and downright beautiful birds!
