My Favorite: We have been to Tucson a number of times on vacation, and I've often seen glimpses of Green-tailed Towhee. However, until 2015 I'd never gotten a decent photo of one. One a very chilly (trust me...35 in Tucson is chilly!) November morning, I found a number of them at Tanque Verde Wash in Tucson, and was able to get a lot of very nice photos in the warm morning light. Here one is sitting on what I believe is called "desert broom".
