Sprague's Pipits are certainly elusive little birds! I've tried to get them on multiple occasions, but it wasn't until one beautiful day in late September, 2011 that I was able to finally see them and photograph them. Given that it was the only time I've seen them, I ended up spending most of a day trying to photograph them!!!
