American Dipper Photo

This American Dipper was probably the most fun to watch on this very fun morning below Roughlock Falls in the Black Hills.  I saw him shooting down the creek from the falls area itself, and to my surprise, he landed mere feet from me and started foraging.  Very fun to watch, very hard to photograph, as the light was poor and he just wouldn't stop moving!  Great experience, regardless of photo opportunities, although I was pleased to get several shots of him.  Taken on July 8th, 2008 with Canon 20D, 400 5.6L.
