My Favorite: The "Blue" Grouse was the old name for what are now considered two species, the "Dusky Grouse", and the "Sooty Grouse". The Dusky Grouse is a species that was once found in the Black Hills of South Dakota, but they've been extirpated in the state. The Dusky Grouse is the species found more in the interior western parts of North America, while the Sooty Grouse is found near the Pacific Coast. The photos below are all of Dusky Grouse, taken in the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming.
