California Quail Photos

My Favorite:  Such cute little fellows! I've seen them a number of times while traveling in Oregon and California.  Sometimes they can be pretty easy to photograph, as they hang out in the open without a care in the world.  Others are as shy as can be, scurrying for cover when you approach.  Most of the photos below are of the "tamer" temperament of California Quail taken at Point Reyes National Seashore in northern California.
