My Favorite: In my part of South Dakota, it seems that if you find a small creek or other waterway with a bit of vegetation around it, if there's a bridge over the creek there's often an Eastern Phoebe around it. They've become quite accustomed to using bridges and other structures for nesting. I see them quite often, and they can be quite tame when you encounter them. The photo below is of an Eastern Phoebe from Beaver Creek Nature Area, just a few miles from my house, taken on August 10th, 2014.
