My Favorite: Not a species I've
seen very often, I hit the jackpot for photo opportunities while up at Sax-Zim
Bog in northern Minnesota. There was a very large flock of Evening Grosbeaks at
a feeder complex at the north end of the bog, and they were quite cooperative
for photos. It was my first time seeing so many together, and on a wintry day,
they REALLY stand out from their surroundings. Beautiful birds...
