Sonoran Gopher Snake

This photo of a Sonoran Gopher Snake was taken in May 2008, on the outskirts of Tucson, Arizona.  Ever go tromping through the desert at night with a flashlight?  Try it sometime....much fun!!  That's what led to this photo.   Photo taken with Canon 20D and 400 5.6L lens.
