Lightning Flats Storm

This photo was taken in July of 2002 on a high plateau in Montana called "Lightning Flats".  It was very appropriately named this late afternoon, as a very strong storm had moved through just prior to this shot.  It's not often you see abandoned farmhouses that are as large as this one.   One of my favorite photos of all time.  When the storm passed and the sun broke through, the warm evening light on the grasses, coupled with the intense and dark storm in the background, made for a magical scene.
