OK, they're right. It's dang, dang hard to shoot something as massive as the Grand Canyon. Where do you begin? You just can't get a photo that can convey the massive grandeur of it.
This is the first shot I took of the Grand Canyon, right as we got there at sunset on September 3rd, 2006. This is also just about the ONLY shot that I like at all! It's so hard (for me anyway) to frame a decent shot of something so big, that all my other shots look exactly like what they are...little "clips" or snippets of the real thing, something that doesn't represent the real thing very well at all.
