Probably the most popular trail in the park is the Woodland Trail. This is a typical view along the trail, with surrounding deciduous forest, and low herbaceous undergrowth. Most areas along the trail offer good views through the forest, as undergrowth tends to be low, not thick and shrubby. These areas are good for woodland species, including the potential for nesting Cooper's Hawks in summer, and Northern Goshawks in the winter.
