Sandhill Crane
This photo of an adult Sandhill crane with colt was taken on August 8th, 2007 in Yellowstone National Park, on a dry sagebrush and grassland flat above Mammoth Hot Springs. I'm very fond of this photo...I really like the mirror image in poses between parent and young. Taken with Canon 20D, 400 5.6L.
