Grizzly Bear

This female (sow) Grizzly Bear was foraging on the side of Mount Washburn in Yellowstone National Park on August 3rd, 2007, with two first year cubs playing nearby.  Because I was largely shooting through gaps in a grove of burned trees, it was hard to get many photos depicting both the mother and her cubs.  Managed a frame or two here of the mother digging for something, with one of the cubs mimicking her behavior.  Taken with Canon 20D, 400 5.6L.
