Grizzly Bear
This female (sow) Grizzly Bear was foraging on the side of Mount Washburn in Yellowstone National Park on August 3rd, 2007, with two first year cubs playing nearby. It was interesting to watch her forage, although I'm not quite sure what she was after. She was digging a lot on what appeared to be open ground, but I couldn't ID what she was after. Taken with Canon 20D, 400 5.6L.
