Steamboat Geyser
Steamboat Geyser, in the Norris Geyser Basin, is one of the largest geysers in the world when it erupts, capable of reaching heights over 300 feet. Unfortunately, that "when" is quite unpredictable, and eruptions are few and far between, with as much as 50 years between recorded eruptions. Thus...no views of eruptions in the photos below, just the very steamy and violent geyser pool.
