Sapphire Pool and Runoff
One of the coolest features of any of the geyser basins is the runoff streams from overflowing hot springs and geysers. Different colored bacteria like different temperatures, so you get runoff streams of varying colors depending upon the temperature of the runoff. These photos are of Sapphire Pool and its associated runoff, in the Biscuit Basin.
