Minute Geyser

Minute Geyser is so named because in the early part of the 20th century, it would erupt every minute.  The vent that erupted during that time was unfortunately clogged with rocks and debris by visitors who tossed the materials in.  Eruptions drastically changed, and now the western vent that used to erupt so faithfully (sound familiar?) is closed.  Very small irregular irruptions, only up to 2 or 3 feet, now occur in the eastern vent.
