Cistern Spring
A view of Cistern Spring in the Norris Geyser Basin. Most of the time when adjacent Steamboat Geyser is dormant, Cistern overflows and deposits fresh sinter around it's margins, constantly expanding and killing more and more trees around the pool itself. Taken on August 3rd, 2007 with Canon 20D, 17-40L.
