Cistern Spring
Cistern Spring is a very large hot spring in the Norris Geyser Basin, very close to the pool for Steamboat Geyser. The two features are linked. Steamboat only erupts on rare occasions, and most of the time when Steamboat is dormant, Cistern Spring constantly overflows and deposits new sinter in the area, continually expanding and killing trees around the spring.
