Uncle Tom's Trail

The long, LONG series of steps built on the side of the canyon in the photos below is Uncle Tom's Trail.  The trail drops over 500 vertical feet with a series of well over 300 stairs, as well as paved sections, to a view of the Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River.  These photos are taken from across the canyon, at the conclusion of the Brink of the Lower Falls trail...yet another trail with a very significant vertical descent and climb.
