Bay-breasted Warbler Photos

My Favorite: Bay-breasted Warblers are considered rare migrants in eastern South Dakota, and my records certainly back up that characterization. I went about 14 years between spring sightings, until finding this gorgeous male in May of 2019, at Good Earth State Park in South Dakota. I LOVE the plumage on these guys...so different than other North American Warblers. While I don't have many photos of the species after starting birding in 2020, I was quite happy to get the photos below.
