Sandhill Crane Photo

This photo of an adult Sandhill Crane with colt was taken on August 8th, 2007 at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, near Mammoth Hot Springs.  I found two adults and the one colt on a large grassland and sagebrush flat, near Mammoth Hot Springs.  They certainly can be found in very dry environments in Yellowstone as they forage for insects.  Taken with Canon 20D, 400 5.6L.
