Light Morph Swainson's Hawk Photo

This photo of a light-morph Swainson's Hawk was taken on May 3rd, 2005 near Lake Thompson in Kingsbury County.   Such an intense look from this guy, who had obviously just recently fed, given the blood on his talons.  Taken with Canon 20D, 400 5.6L lens.
