Ruby-throated Hummingbird Photo

This photo of a juvenile Ruby-throated Hummingbird was taken on September 1st, 2008 in our yard in Brandon, South Dakota.  2008 was a banner summer for hummingbirds in our yard, from the first week of May through much of September.  In late summer, we had scads around in our backyard, including several juveniles.  Taken with Canon 20D, 400 5.6L lens.
