This photo of a female Ruby-throated Hummingbird was taken on September 22nd, 2004 at our home in Brandon. Not the prettiest of perches...it's a tomato cage...but I've noticed these guys really like sitting on tomato cages. The diameter of the wire must be perfect for their little feet. Photo taken with Canon 300D, 400 5.6L.
