Red-necked Grebe Photo

This photo of a Red-necked Grebe on a nest was taken on June 24th, 2006 just outside of Anchorage, Alaska.  The nest was in this floating vegetation.  The two adults would take turns tending to the nest, with the other adult typically cruising around the general vicinity.  Photo taken with Canon 20D, 400 5.6L.
