Red-breasted Nuthatch Photo

This photo of a Red-breasted Nuthatch was taken on September 7th, 2007 at Newton Hills State Park in South Dakota.  On a very warm summery day, I certainly wasn't expecting him, so it was a pleasant surprise when this early migrant popped up on this branch.  Photo taken with Canon 20D, 400 5.6L.
