Northern Pintail Photos
These guys just look very elegant to me. Unfortunately, I can never get close enough to photograph them. The only time I've been able to do it was on my way back from a business trip in Missouri. I was driving, saw this "Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge" near I-29, and decided to pull over and check it out. I'm glad I did!! It was early March, and there were thousands upon thousands of waterfowl, along with a number of Bald Eagles.
