Northern Mockingbird Photo
This photo was taken February 1st, 2002, in downtown Las Vegas of all places. I had a business trip, but had one morning to go to the Henderson Wildlife Viewing area just outside of Las Vegas. HIGHLY recommended, if you happen to be in the area. The area consists of a former sewage treatment area that's been cleaned up. It has a variety of water and wetland habitats, and was chock-full of birds when I was there.
However...This guy was just outside my hotel, right on the Strip!! It pays to always be ready with your camera!!
