Long-eared Owl Photo

This photo of a Long-eared Owl was taken on November 21st, 2007 at the Big Sioux Recreation Area near Brandon, South Dakota.  One of my favorite experiences (and photos), seeing the sun set right behind this guy, and having him out in the relative open (at least compared to where they're normally found).  Photo taken with Canon 20D, 400 5.6L.
