This photo of a Harris's Sparrow was taken on May 13th, 2006 at the Outdoor Campus in Sioux Falls. Eric Liknes was banding birds this morning, and managed to catch this bird in his mist nets. Very cool to see them up close like this. Taken with Canon 20D, 400 5.6L lens.
