This photo was taken on June 25th, 2006 off the coast of Seward, Alaska. Glaucous-winged Gulls dominated the offshore rocks at lower levels and more featureless spots, while the nooks and cracks were often being used by nesting Common Murres or Horned Puffins. Taken with Canon 20D, 400 5.6L lens.
