Green Heron Photo

This photo was taken on August 1st, 2003, at the Madison Waterfowl Production Area just west of Lake Madison.  There were good numbers of these guys, Great Egrets, and Great Blue Herons foraging in the shallows out in the open on this hot summer day.  Taken by digiscoping, with Swarovski AT80 HD scope, Nikon Coolpix 4500 digital camera.
