Great Gray Owl Photo

This photo was taken on December 14th, 2004, at Sax-Zim Bog northwest of Duluth.  This guy was hunting along CR312 in the northern part of the bog.  The forecast for the day was sunny, but I got up here and it started to snow.  I was bummed at first, but after getting this shot, I was quite happy to have the snow falling!  Taken with Canon 300D, 400 5.6L lens.
