Great Blue Heron

This photo was taken on April 25th, 2004 about 4 miles west of Oldham (near Lake Thompson).  Normally I wouldn't even think of a "bum-shot", where the bird is flying away from the camera, but I like the look of this one.  Taken with Canon 300D, 70-200 4.0L lens with 1.4x extender.
