Golden Eagle Photo

I see plenty of these guys when I go to the central part of the state in the winter, but I usually can never get close to them.  FINALLY I ran into a cooperative bird.  Not the most picturesque of perches, but I'm just glad I finally have something good for a Golden Eagle!!  Taken on February 1st, 2005, with Canon 300D, 400 5.6L lens, on the Fort Pierre National Grasslands.
